Check you parents household insurance first - mine covers both my children being away at University so separate insurance could be an added expense that is not necessary

Erm no this is not spam Mankysteve, I just thought I should make any students who are on here that are moving into halls in September 2010 aware that they should get this insurance because a lot of crazy and unexpected things happen at Uni to your stuff whilst you are there, trust me! Plus some Unis do not provide this for you...

Yes Endsleigh quite often cover students through their accomodation provider(as we found out with my daughter currently being in Halls) but that is pretty basic cover and if you want to say, add on cover for a laptop being taken out of Halls they don't half want your money out of you.
There are better deals to be had and I can't wait for daughter to start renting privately in September so that she doen't have to use Endsleigh!!

I have actually done this as you put it from the kindness of my heart
For the post and threads that I have created I have used all of the services that I have tried to inform others in order to help them save money etc.
