I don't think he/she is going to find anything much cheaper than 13434's €0.05 connection and €0.005/minute to call Slovakia from the ROI.Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.0

Heinz...it says 0.5 cent per minute.......not .005...?0

Yes and, when written in Euros, that is €0.005 (just as ½p, when written with its currency symbol, is £0.005).Parisien wrote:Heinz...it says 0.5 cent per minute.......not .005...?
5 Eurocents = €0.05 (the connection charge)
½ a Eurocent = €0.005Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. eeeeeeemmmmmm.....but 0.5 is 1/2 a cent.......as per their site........is just not quite the same when relating to GB currency...but no probs...:)
