I am considering using a company called Lawnet UK scotland who are affiliated with Banksmart UK. They claim that as most of my cards where taken out before 2007 they can usually have the debt written off.
They started by asking for £295 per claim and I said I would think about it 10 days later they are offering to do this for £100 per claim which seems like a good deal, has anybody used them? Are they reputable?

And would they like to provide evidence of how successful they have been when they use the word "usually"?
Would they also like to confirm how they can get them written off when the courts stated in the 6 test cases in Manchester in December (which all ruled in favour of the lenders) that the debt is not written off but remains on your file as a debt in arrears. Therefore destroying your ability to get credit again in future.they are offering to do this for £100 per claim which seems like a good deal
If you dont mind kissing goodbye to £100Are they reputable?
They are a claims company and its clear from your wording they havent been honest with you. Claims companies dont know the meaning of the word reputable.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). Give it another 10 days and who knows, they might then offer to pay you £95 per claim submitted"Now to trolling as a concept. .... The unenforceable credit claims 'industry' is dead in the water.
Any lawyer who values his reputation, or wants to keep on the right side of the SRA, will no longer touch it with a barge pole.
Any claims companies still giving out the tired old line about the majority of pre2007 agreements being unenforceable are more than likely engaging in up-front-fee fraud, trying to rake in the last ounce of cash from gullible, greedy and desperate people before shutting up shop and disappearing before getting closed down themselves.0 -

If you go onto the debt free wannabe board, there is a thread on this topic of unenforceable credit agreements. "Never in Doubt" will be able to help you.0
