roll over to 2012
I am currently with British Gas Dual fuel, for the last 5 years I have been on price protection 2010 which will come to an end on the 30th of April. I have been offered a roll over to a new price protection until 2012. Is this a good deal or should I look at other option? thank.

Couple of threads on this, including this one:

At 4% above standard rates it is very expensive compared with other available tariffs - including BG's own websaver 7.
Some of the much cheaper tariffs - e-on, OVO etc fix their prices for a year or more.
It depends on if you feel prices are going to increase massively before March 2012.
However IMO it is a very poor deal, and I for one am leaving for pastures new.0 -
Look at the other thread. BG offer is well OTT. I'll be leaving them too.0
