juddering car in 1st gear
hi...I wonder if anyone can give me some advice with my car, I have a renault clio on a 07 plate, its done 19,000 miles and im the 2nd owner, 3 weeks ago i had to have new front brakes, the mechanic said they are not normally replaced on that low mileage, now since yesterday the car has started juddering when pulling away in 1st gear, someone suggested it may be a clutch problem??
could anyone give me some advice on what the problem might be and also how these problems could occur when the mileage is low

Clutch is probably place to look. Perhaps an oil leak causing it to judder.0

The problem is occuring because the previous owner wasn't mechanically sympathetic with the car.
This is borne out by the fact that the brakes needed replacing at 19,000 miles. Anyone who uses brakes in such a manner probably also has no idea about looking after a clutch properly, as a reuslt this is also shot after 19,000 miles.0 -

Depends on the car surely? I've had a clio 182 and a clio V6 and both got through front brakes like nobody's business. I got way less than 19000 miles either way.0 -
Low mileage can be a killer of brake discs and pads. The discs corrode fairly easily and become pitted. The man without a signature.0
