Loss of function bar from microsoft word doc

Options
Hi
Can anyone help me restore my function/tool bar on the microsoft word document page. I am unable to print anything off that I type up cos no Print button to press (thanks to the kids messing with the computer!)
Thanks from a totally non-techie lady!

    Can you see View at the top?

    If you can, click on View, then Toolbars
    Click on Standard and you should have your basic Toolbar back
    Click on View | Toolbars and add any others that you might have had visible

    In alternative, you can just press ctrl key then letter p, that will give you the printing wizard.
  • No icons at the top at all!

    OK, let's try this another way - you open Word, or open a Word document which opens Word.

    What do you see? From the top of the screen, down to the document window, describe what's on the screen.

    I've got, in my version of Word;

    Blue Title Bar
    My chosen Toolbars
    Document Window
    More Toolbars below Doc Window
    Windows Taskbar

    Do you have ANYTHING between the Blue Title Bar and the Document Window itself? If so, right-click on it, and it should give you a list of Toolbars - the Standard Toolbar is the one you want.
