Bunches of daffodils die before opening
For two weeks in succession my husband has bought me bunches of daffodils in bud. I've chopped off the ends before putting them in water but on both occasions the buds have gone brown and died before even opening. I know it's the end of the daffodil season but this has never happened before. Any ideas why?
