Debit card charges

Options
Ikea recently introduced a 70p charge when credit cards are used for purchases. however, they also charge 70p when paying for delivery if you use a debit card. They are the only company I know off who add this fee. They also charge £40 for delivery on a cooker hood which cost £110. There is no way of avoiding this extra charge as you cannot even arrange to pick it up in store. The price is deliberately misleading.

EDITED to include ikea in title thread

You could always buy elsewhere, the £40 charge for your cooker hood delivery effectively made the price £150. could you not have sourced it cheaper elsewhere?
