I recently sold some items on ebay and used http://www.parcels2go.co.uk/ 1st one got there ok.
Then almost 2 weeks after they’d been to collect the 2nd item I received an email from the buyer asking where his package was (I’d wrongly assumed that it’d been delivered as I hadn’t heard anything different form the courier). Phoned them which was automated menu nightmare after 10 minutes finally got to speak to a real person who after 5 minutes of looking informed me that they had damaged the package and she would send me a claim form. Week went by no claim form, phoned again same thing 15 minutes later person on the phone said they had now lost the package and would send me a claim for stressed that I’d been told that before and she absolutely assured me that one was in the post. 4 days later no claim for so phoned them again same thing only this time I got the person on the phone to email me one while I was talking to them.
Filled in the form sent it off straight away and a week later got a reply saying my claim was unsuccessful because all claims must be made within 30 days of them coming to collect the parcel and it was by this time longer than 30 days. Phoned them and tried to explain that it was bad customer service fault my claim was not made within 30 days and was told that there was nothing they could do, when I asked to speak to someone else the girl on the phone hung up on me. Phoned yet again and was just told the same thing. Have now given up on ever getting compensated parcels2go cost me £170 and so am not happy with them at all.

Write to them (special delivery if you can, recorded isn't really tracked that well for something like this) with everything you've posted here and give them 7 days to refund.
If they don't, then initiate action through the small claims track of the County Court. You MUST do it though rather than just threaten. Parcel2Go have a terrible reputation and it's seems the only thing that focuses their mind is legal action.
If you go to Google groups and search the UK eBay group there's a guy on there who has had to pursue P2G like this.
Good luck!0 -
Dont give up, its their responcabilty, not yours or your customers, they love folk like you who will just think "oh forget it", why else do you think they can fob you off for so long, only tho then pass the buck:A:dance:1+1+1=1:dance::A

I dont know if their website has changed or if this is a spoof company that looks similar to the original.
The parcels2go that I know are simply a front end for DHL - they do the initial parcel collection and processing but the DHL do the transfer and delivery aspect. Given I work during collection hours I have always dropped the parcel off at the local DHL centre and never had a single problem with the delivery of the itemsAll posts made are simply my own opinions and are neither professional advice nor the opinions of my employers
