Hi
I'm looking for some help for my friend.
She opened a natwest advantage blue account online but didnt realise it had monthly charges she contacted her bank explaining she had opened it in mistake and they removed the advantage blue but because of the charges it had gone overdrawn and she is being charged every month and it is now over £100 in arrears.
She has never used the account and the arrears are just going up.
I have told her to write to them and explain but what should she say in her letter.
Anyone got any helpful advice please because i feel she is just burying her head in the sand and i am worried she isin't going to sort this out.
Many thanks

Tell her to write to NatWest in the method you have stated and ask them to close the account since you have never used it or the benefits. Once they respond then post up the response.
Did she close it within 14 days of it being opened?0
