Advice Required for Courgettes & Water Melons

I also am trying melons and courgettes. No success with courgettes in my first year, although slugs were very happy, so this year we will EXTERMINATE!!! And I had some melon seeds so thought I'd give it a go. Was going to plant out but having read advice on here the greenhouse it will be. Thanks

I usually do courgettes (1 to a growbag) on the patio. I sprinkle organic slug pellets liberally under and around the bag if slugs are a problem, but I think being on the patio discourages them at least a bit! They always produce like crazy that way


note to heynonnynonny: don't grow 8 courgette plants. no, really unless you REALLY like courgettes!!
