I LOVED being 30. Had a ball. Got a tattoo which I love and had the most amazing couple of years. Ames - it was the least sensible time of my life..........oh boy.......lol.......

Still can't face up to being 40 next month. It is really going to bother me and it's a good job I'm not here as it will feel like 'another day' of my holiday where you forget what the day/date is because of being away.

I hated turning 30 it was a real issue for me.....I felt I'd missed my late teens and twenties by being "settled" and married so young..turning 30 was a huge stumbling block. I'm over it now though. I shall be 37 in June which seems far to grown up.

I'll be 37 this summer too! Didn't realise we were so close in age;)

New job is good. Finding it difficult to think about settling properly until I hear about the other one though:cool:

Suzy, I wouldn't want to be a teenager again, although as I was pretty much housebound for three years in my teens I missed out on a lot of growing up experiences which has affected my confidence I think.

Tenmah, that's my big problem about 30 - if it means I'll have to be all grown up and sensible!

Truthfully Ames, I don't feel that I grew up until I was 40. Once I was over 40, I seemed to look at things differently.

I wasn't immature before, but I was prbably living the life of someone a lot younger than me - still going clubbing and that sort of thing.

Now I have completely changed and don't go out at all :(

Mum keeps going on about it, how awful it is that I'm so old, how terrible she felt at thirty, worse than forty and fifty...
