Selling car ... cant find V5

I had disabled tax until Dec/Jan when my DLA ended i had to go to my local DVLA to change the class to non disabled so got a new V5 - but seem to have misplaced it

Im coming to sell (sold) my car now but unable to find that one, I read i can apply myself for a new one for £25 by filling in the V62 form
Or the new buyer can fill it in i think so it would automatically get it changed for them as the registered owner too.

I have however found part of an old V5 (New keeper bit) and wouldnt need to pay £25 if i send that, but would it matter that its an old new keeper bit (Ive had 3 V5's in the past 18 months, non disabled / disabled / non disabled - due to dla starting/stopping)

Was thinking of using one of the old New Keeper part of the form and sending that with the V62 with the new buyers details...

Anyone know if that would be ok or not?

    I would try it. ;)

Almost certainly, if you were to ask them they would say "no you can't do that. Please send us £25 instead".
