Floors 2 go

Help, I've ordered some wooden flooring from floors 2 go, costing £750 but despite being told they would be with me within 3weeks, I haven't had my order. After chasing the company, I was told that they would arrive today 20th April, again they haven't arrived.
It's been 5 weeks now and the store has told me that they can only refund me from head office in cheque form and this will take a few weeks. I know that the staff at this store "Cardiff" have lied to me on numerous occasions and in nearly every conversation and I now don't belive a word they say.
I was told by one member of staff that they are told to use the "hard sale" and get customers to pay for flooring when they know full well that the stock will not arrive on the date that they tell you.
As I've paid with my credit card, would i be better applying to the card for repayment or do I have a legal right to a full refund on my card, straight away as they have not fullfilled my order as agreed (3 weeks has turned into 5 weeks)?
Warning: Do not buy anything from floors 2 go as I've been assured, off the record, that unless the product is in the shop at the time, it is very unlikely you will recieve it. The company seems to be in trouble as they are unable to see any orders through!!!!

They can do a refund back on to your card that you used to purchase the good's, it is very unlikley head office will refund you as each branch has targets to reach and by telling you that head office will refund you is stalling them having a -£750 on the there sales targets.0
