Help old Credit Cards i no longer use

Options
I remember i had a credit card years ago with Egg, and with Barclay card could have been over 8-9 years ago, with egg being around 5 years ago. However i do not have account details for which to try and claim back charges. i know i had charges for going over the limit and also for not paying minimum payment.

just wondering what the best way of going about this is

First of all write to them to ask if they still have your details on record. If the records have been destroyed then they have to be able to tell you when they were destroyed by virtue of a Certificate of Destruction.
I have not worked for NatWest Bank since February 2009
