Best Butlins Resort

We are about to book a mid-week break at Butlins. We live in Surrey and would probably go to Bognor. However, I have noticed that Minehead seems to be a lot cheaper, but I have heard bad reviews about Minehead over Bognor. Does anyone have any first hand experience? Thanks

The price difference is about £110. We have a budget of £450 for accomodation and food and thought Butlins is the best bet.

Hi, The 3 of them are more or less identical now so i believe. The last two years i have went to Bognor then Minehead & this year its Skegness. Minehead town centre was nicer than Bognor though.

I like Bognor beacuse we like to stay in the hotel.

Have not tried the new one yet, after they bought forward their opening, into the school hoidays and upped the price and decreased the number of nights. We nearly got to stay there on the opening night.

Minehead is a lovely place but a nuisance to get to. You also have to drive there.... £1.30p a litre

My hubby worked at all 3 and says that minehead is by far the best one as everything is all together and the night club is in sky line so your not going to get all dressed to to cue out in the rain lol.

Now we have 4 children i have to say i feel minehead is the one as everything is on the camp with one you have to leave the camp and go under a bridge to get to the sports.

I also feel safer at minehead as my boy ran off (or i got lost if you as him lol)one year and they locked the camp down till he was found playing ball in out door sports lol

I've been to both Skegness and Minehead and have to say we prefer Skegness, Minehead felt a little run doen to us. Would like to try Bognor though to compare.

Only ever been to Bognor, went with a group of friends and we had a lovely week. Wasnt too impressed with Bognor town centre though

I liked Minehead a lot more than Bognor. There is hardly anything to do outside of the Butlins in Bognor!
