I had a small house fire about a year ago but didn't have any building or contents insurance and been out of work due to illness and now looking for work.
My home is mortaged but cant seem to get any funding from anywhere because i've been out of work.
My mortgage company cant help but I really need to sort out my home.
Currently I have just floor boards and smoke damaged walls and ceilings and been living in this poor condition for over 12 months.
Does anyone know who I can turn too for help even if I have to pay back every penny when I start work. Living in these conditions is making me more ill and depressing - please help me !! mike
I have been quoted £11000 to clean up the damage and to get the house restored to basic living conditions and I am prepared to pay back every single penny with agreement if necesary please HELP !!

Hi Mike,
It might help getting a better answer if you can give an estimate for the cost of renovations. Are we talking about some cleaning and a lick of paint or thousands of pounds of work?0 -
Salvation Army might be able to help, or know who could.
Also,
