The free prescriptins are for 5 years when granted on the grounds of cancer.Please get on to Macmillan,if he has no income from the inheritance now then there must be benefit support for both of them as a couple.

Thanks for the goodwishes-I had pretty major surgery but chemo doesn't improve survival rates with what I had. I feel reasonably well though am waiting for yet another operation at the moment-I am on an urgent waitlist of at least 10 weeks!

Thanks Suzi, I'll pass that on. Hopefully she will have the tube fitted today, ready for her op on Monday ~ she was meant to have the tube fitted last Friday but that was cancelled.

I hope that you get your op asap, and that it all goes as well as it can do xx
