Boiler help

Hi 
Ive just been replacing a radiator valve....all went well eventually, i bled the radiator, turned off the water then changed the valve over. Until i come to turn the boiler back on, it makes loud gushing noises inside for about 10 secs, then goes quiet gurgles abit and then stops and is silent, it still says it is on however is completely silent and no water heard coming out:( any ideas why?

Will have air in the system will need to blead the system whilst its running a few times0

Is this a standard heating system and boiler with an expansion tank in the loft, or a combi or system boiler with a filling loop somewhere?0

I figured out it just needed filling via the filling loop
