Parcel Missing Bulgaria

Sent a parcel to Bulgaria and it has apparently not arrived. Seller has low feedback. Was sent to be signed for. My question is how can I check it has not been received before I refund. I have a claim form from the post office so should only be out of pocket for packaging etc but don't want to refund, then find out the parcel has been signed for and I've been scammed with no way of getting my money back.

Hmmm ive had a few potential buyers recently ask me if i will ship to Bulgaria. One even won one of my auctions, paid the normal UK postage id quoted, then asked me when they could expect it to arrive in Bulgaria!!!

If you set up your auctions correctly you can avoid this. Either block overseas bidders entirely or else add the overseas postage in the correct box on your listing and they cna only pay the amount that relates to their country.

NO Royal Mail service will GUARANTEE signature/delivery outside of the UK. So, if it hasn't tracked and an acceptable amount of time has passed, you should refund. Then claim from RM.

I'm not sure, how if you sent a parcel to Bulgaria that the recipient is a SELLER? Are you saying that your BUYER has low feedback? If so, this is irrelevant, as an EBAYER can only have low feedback as a SELLER, this does not give any indication of their buying habits.

Personally i would block either all places outside the UK or pick and choose the ones you will do wisely. I dont send abroad. No need the is enough UK buyers to get the item up to market value. and less hassle when the non uk buyers claim it never arrived. Sometimes it is the buyers however i think some countries have very bad postal systems and the stuff maybe gets nicked before it is delivered.

IMO, all in all not worth it.

I did. They had registered as being in the UK, which allowed them to bid on my "UK only" auction. In the end I gave them the choice of me reporting them to ebay or giving me a UK mailing address I could use.

OP, did you enter the tracking number onto the site I posted earlier? It is WORTH selling abroad, as more people bid on your auctions (and not necessarily win them.) The £ is so low, it's foolish not to do it.
