hi all, hope your all having a good day
my solicitor is still on holiday so i have a quick question
when do i pay my stamp duty on exchange or completion?
also whats the best schedule for moving in a chain or 3
hubby suggests getting a van and moving out nearly everything the day before we complete and packing the few last things and getting the keys to the EA by 10am and then waiting for the keys to the new place.
i suggest packing the house in the morning getting the keys to the EA around lunchtime and them waiting to get our keys
what are you thoughts
thanks all

your conveyancer needs to be in funds to pay it (particulrly if you have a lender) on the day of completion, and they usually pay it on that day too as they get all their paperwork ready, and thy need to have paid it before they can register your ownership at the Land RegistryMy posts are just my opinions and are not offered as legal advice - though I consider them darn fine opinions none the less.:cool2:
My bad spelling...well I rush type these opinions on my own time, so sorry, but they are free.:o0
