ESA with Pension

i have been getting ESA for a year now but have been told by a place of work where i was at 10 years go (inland revenue) they may give me my pension early as i am very unlikely to work again due to ill health. its only £25 per week, will this affect my ESA, i am 36 years old..many thanks

No this will not affect your ESA, only pensions over £85 per week reduce the amount of ESA paid.0 -
ESA(C) is reduced by pensions over £85 with half of everything over that being taken in.
ESA(IR) is reduced penny for penny so a pension of £25 would reduce ESA(IR) by £25.
I assume that you will be receiving ESA(C) though.0
