Best place to sell my car?

Hello,

I was just wondering other than autotrader and ebay, where is the best place to advertise my car? Preferably for free? Am I allowed to advertise it on here, I dont think I am but just checking?

    Give Pistonheads.com a go, they're free and quite widely used.

    Is it not illegal to sell a car from the side of the road in some parts?

    Maybe try gumtree.com in your area that would be free and used quite a bit.

    I think it apples to dealers rather than private sellers.

    As long as the car is taxed and insured and legally parked cannot see how they can stop you advertising a car for sale.

    Local used dealer got a visit fromthe officials for parking cars on the central reseveration, Cars were untaxed.

    That would be my 1st option too, if it's realistically priced it will sell and the ad is free :money:

    There is a law or some local regulations that allow local authorities to take action against businesses selling cars on the roadside, particularly in residential streets, even when they are taxed and legally parked.
