Rang tax credits and.....

They told me that another team was dealing with my claim. The other team was concerened about how many times i had i had rang the helpline and that they were here 'to help me help myself'!!! !!!!!!?? I only rang last year to change circumstances, eg, change of address and bank details. Has anyone else had any dealings with this other team? I have read the thread about the letters but i have not received one these. I wanted to put my hand down the phone and strangle the woman lol. Any info would be great.

    A team has been set up to try to advise those who repeatedly call TCO when they don't necessarily need to. These repeat callers clog up the helpline and prevent those who genuinely need advice, or to notify of a change of circumstances, from getting through.

    If you aren't making repeat calls, and I mean very frequently, ask the next advisor you talk to to look at your notes and get them to confirm to you the dates of the calls you made.

    hi,if u look back at my posts i had the same thing happen to me,they were very nice on the phone and was told nothing to worry about,like pam said they are there to help you help yourself lol:T
  • Thankyou so much, was getting a little worried that it was a way to check up on people and maybe stop payments. I have nothing to worry about if they do check but it still made me a little anxious. Thanks again :D
