SeeTickets Kelis Tickets

I heard that Kelis was playing 2 intimate gigs in London, one being on the bill for the 14th May at the Coronet Theatre. I went on Seetickets and bought some for me and my friends, but the same night Seetickets pulled the ticket sales from their website... which i thought was odd. The following morning I received an email from seetickets saying that Kelis is no longer performing on that night but now on the 7th May with Tinchy Stryder.

Apparently I can either turn up on the 7th May with my 14th may tickets and I will be allowed in, or I can still turn up on the 14th and still watch the show i bought for (minus Kelis).

I cannot make the 7th May and I don't want to go the event on the 14th cos Kelis wont be playing....

I contacted Seetickets as soon as I received the email to tell them I wanted my order canceled... they have seemed to ignore all of my emails and have sent me tickets.

Help somebody!

Was Kelis the headline act, or just support?

Generally speaking, if a performance is rescheduled, you'll be offered a refund or tickets to the new performance. However if it's just a 'minor' alteration to the line up this might not be offered.

Yeah, Kelis was the only big name on the 14th May lineup.

    Update:

The gig has now been completely canceled. I had to send the tickets back special delivery so they could refund me today... any later and i would get no refund.

However I have now received an email stating:

    "Dear Sir

We're writing to let you know that we've refunded the face value of your
order for TOGETHER at Coronet, Kent Road London on 14/05/2010.

The refund has been credited to the card the tickets were
purchased with. The refund will clear in the next 3-5 working days.

This amount is minus booking fees and postage charges (if despatched)."

Surely they must issue a full refund if the gig no longer exists? Why am I liable to pay postage each way and admin costs for something that is not my (the customers) fault????

Push them for a full refund, you should be entitled.

Also, if the gig has been completely cancelled, I don't see why they need the tickets back, they're not much use to anyone surely?
