Damaged electricity meter door
My electricity meter door was vandalised so I asked my energy company https://www.ecotricity.co.uk who said that I should go to a hardware store & buy one. I said I've never seen one before in a hardware store. What do I do now?

Distribution Companies used to replace meter boxes and parts free of charge. It is a safety issue because the service point can now be accessed by anyone.
There have been instances of children being injured, admittedly after interfering with the service point, and the Distribution Company being held responsible.0
