How to donate air miles to charity?

Does anyone know if it is possible to donate air miles with the Virgin frequent flyer scheme to charity?

I have nearly 50,000 miles which are due to expire shortly - I won't use them and would happily donate them but not sure how?

If anyone has any suggestions, pelase let me know.

    Is this any use? If not, why not ask Virgin if they have a scheme set up for other charities, I think you'd have to go through them anyway wouldn't you?
