Ryanair help please

Ryanair have been good with the info updates but am finding the refund/re-book process difficult.

The email ive had says :

TO REBOOK FREE ONLINE:

Click on the link below to rebook to the same destination airport on an alternative flight free of charge, subject to availability. Customers can access this link up to the 20/04/2010 for travel on flights up to the 30/04/2010.

PLEASE NOTE: If your booking has a return flight included and you have already checked in for this flight you will NOT be able to transfer your flight to a different departure airport online. We have instructed airports that passengers affected by these flight cancellations may not be able to check-in online and therefore airport staff will reissue boarding passes at the airport free of charge

So I was due to fly today and return on 26th ans had checked in online. I,d like to rebook asap. Does this mean I need to get a refund and rebook as my new return journey is after 30th of the month?

I'd appreciate some advice

Has anyone successfully rebooked for free?
I'm trying to rebook mine, the link takes you through to the 'change flights' and then once you've found them asks for a £50
fee! It's supposed to be free, maybe they take it off afterwards? We only have today to do it and they only sent me the email today

Have you had any luck yet? Fingers crossed, hope you're not stranded anywhere. I've just tried clicking 'confirm flights' but they're going to charge £56 to my card if I carry on. There are now only 3 seats left on the flight I am trying to rebook onto and I need to get out there to help my friend who has been taken ill, doesn't speak the language and needs my help asap! Help!

I've rebooked for Ryanair for free but it didn't come up with a charge mind you I rebooked for Friday afternoon and they're probably not flying then either!

still - mustn't grumble!

I've now successfully rebooked my outbound flight but am going to have to come back 3 days later as I cannot rebook by return flight!:wall: Likewise I've rebooked for Friday, fingers crossed we'll get there!
The wind is really picking up now so maybe the ash will get blown away, lets hope so hey?!

when my flight was cancelled on friday i rebooked for monday without a problem for free. That was subsequently cancelled and i have now applied for a full refund.
