Extra payment form ctc ?

Hi all I have been claiming ctc for 5 years now and every year when i have renewed the claim i have had 2 payments in 1 week. Just wondering if any one else has the same and how long after phoning to renew haw long it take before it come.

I telephoned to renew on the 8th April and to request going onto weekly payments. I recvd payments on the 14th, 15th & 16th of April with normal payments commencing on the 22nd April. I have still recd my award notice but have been assured it is in the post.

You may received two payments in one week for a number of reasons: you may have a sum left over from the end of the Tax Year which you are due, you may have provided a change of circumstances which has recalculated your award, and if you've completed your renewal the system may have issued another payment to make up for any shortfall. I wouldn't worry about it but if you are concerned be sure to check all the details are correct on your award notice as soon as you get it.
