do you mean a bean sprout or brussel sprout?!
If its a bean sprout, you are supposed to eat them when they are at the "strand of cress" stage. Not sure what they grow into if you keep them going!

sorry but i laughed my a33e off at "bean sprout" i wouldnt get much of a stir fry out of one lool

Haha! I didn't want to be cheeky in case you were a complete newbie (well I am too, but I know not to try and grow 1 bean sprout in the garden!)

I can't help with brussel sprouts I'm afraid; maybe i should grow 1 sprout plant to provide the ritual 1 sprout eaten by each member of our family at christmas!

Ours havn't done much either, some are bigger than others, but either way they are just sitting there. When I say bigger, I only mean I've seen bigger daisys

I'm on the side of leaving them be, make sure you net them as the birds love them.

This thread has just reminded me...I still need to plant my sprouts. I've never grown them before, so I shall report back. Just hope they grow bigger than daisies
