do you mean a bean sprout or brussel sprout?!
If its a bean sprout, you are supposed to eat them when they are at the "strand of cress" stage. Not sure what they grow into if you keep them going!0 -

Haha! I didn't want to be cheeky in case you were a complete newbie (well I am too, but I know not to try and grow 1 bean sprout in the garden!)
I can't help with brussel sprouts I'm afraid; maybe i should grow 1 sprout plant to provide the ritual 1 sprout eaten by each member of our family at christmas!0 -
we do that too,ect ect ect ect ect ect ooohhh the blood is boiling! :rotfl:

Ours havn't done much either, some are bigger than others, but either way they are just sitting there. When I say bigger, I only mean I've seen bigger daisys

I'm on the side of leaving them be, make sure you net them as the birds love them.0 -
This thread has just reminded me...I still need to plant my sprouts. I've never grown them before, so I shall report back. Just hope they grow bigger than daisies
