afternoon peeps!!
i am well hacked off!!!
We had a lovely honeysuckle bush at the entrance to our flats and someone has cut it down!!! So i've sent an email off to the property management complaining and pointing out that as blackbirds were nesting in it , that's an offence against the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981!!Cats don't have owners - they have staff!!

link for you if you want it to report anyone doing something to damage a nest
http://www.rspb.org.uk/ourwork/policy/wildbirdslaw/report.asp
The important thing is that they admit they have 'intentionally damaged or destroyed' a nest according to the law.

i think cutting the bush down to a 3 inch stump counts as destroying the nest!Cats don't have owners - they have staff!!

thing is, i am assuming it's the owner of the flat opposite as when i come home, he was in the flat doing diy, and the bush is infront of the wall of his flat, though it doesn't block any light.
i wouldn't cut it down and i don't think the other flat owners would cos it doesn't affect them.Cats don't have owners - they have staff!!
