Morning Wannab

I will be driving to Birmingham later today - it is about a three hour drive. My daughter and I are going to an exhibition at the NEC for work and staying overnight in a Holiday Inn Hotel.

I am looking forward to it as I love driving in sunny weather. We are getting the CD's ready for our road trip!!

I am starting boot camp today,but with a dodgy knee I'm not sure if I'llbe able to keep up....
My car is covered in fine dust,and when you wipe your finger in it,and hold it up to the light,it sparkles.....fine glass particles methinks...!

Hi Tenmah, i like Birmingham, its only bout an hour away from where i live & we go up there quite often, i can recomend the Christmas German market there too in Nov/Dec.
SRM is it safe to be doing that with a dodgy knee?? Hope it doesn`t make it worse for you, keep it strapped up. And ooh bout the dust, will the glass particles scratch your car?

Good grief, this nearly dropped onto page 2. :eek: I'm just in the uni library, about to get some books out for an essay on Richard Dawkins' opinions on faith schools and how they fit into the wider faith school debate. Should be interesting. I've got another lecture at 12, then I'm going home. Let's hope I don't fall asleep on the sofa again. Then again, since it annoys my housemates so much, maybe I should. :rotfl:

Morning all

Been running around like a loon again all morning and just listed 11 items on ebay (need to start the "school holiday" fund pot as there's no room in the budget for days out/treats)

Off out for a walk with DH and his whizzy wheels now, need some cable ties and compost so going to walk to the industrial park that's 3 miles away....could just pop to town but need the exercise (and it'll be cheaper further out of town)

SRM I think its the mica in the volcanic dust. Its the mineral that really sparkles if you look at a piece of granite. I would probably suggest dusting it off with your lightest feather duster. If you have any scratches a good polish or T cut should sort them out.

I have put my Ikea shoe cupboard together and it looks good :j However one of the pivots for the shoe drawer doesn't fit properly so I'm going to have to take it back I'm really !!!!ed off.
Do I dismantle it or take it back as it is to prove my point?
Do I buy a replacement one or something else?
