We're in Washington! Is anyone else? Will be moving on to NY in a couple of days to get flights we've re-routed. Blimey.

My daughter is stuck in Washington DC. She should have flown back Sunday evening and is staying with friends out there. She feels helpless and doesn't know who to contact. BA have emailed her and told her the situation but when we ring the helpline its engaged all the time. She flew to Dulles airport. She is about an hours drive away from DC and can only get to the airport when her friend (now back at work) can get home and give her a lift.

Greyhound buses can take you from Washington to NY.
$45 each, takes just over 4 hours. Apparently the luxury new buses now with Wifi included.
I know the train does it in less time (3hrs ish), but im unsure about the price.0 -
don't think the train is too much more expensive. we travelled from north carolina to dc for $45, took 6 hours. not too steep at all0
