while i was on holiday, tmobile sent me at at least 20 pers messages which realy p***** me off, even though i'm on virgin ( i know they are a partner of tmobile), and 4 when i was in range of the virgin uk network as i was returning home at about midnight(when they were sent)

has any1 else had exssesive pers messages?

not received any messages although im on t-mobile and couldnt get a signal on holiday even though my partner is on PAYG she got one straight away as soon as she turned her phone on.

Thats just a moan about t-mobile, i thought i would just need to switch my phone on and it work whilst abroad??

cant even be bothered ringing them takes AGES to get through

why not ring them up and ask them to take you off their marketing list, although it will takes you a while to get through thou !!

Do you mean this happened when you were abroad? It's quite normal when roaming for the network your phone selects to keep changing and each time a network detects you it sends a welcome message. A way to avoid this happening is to switch of automatic network selection and stick with just one.

zappomatic- i was on the same network all the time and it went to orange once and back to the other network i was on and i didnt get any messages

i used to get those annoying ' your in the last three months of your contact, switch now...' text
