Did anyone phone up Pixmania to check whether this "too good to be true" price was genuine before they ordered?

I think that would be a somewhat pointless pursuit, it MUST be a mis-price; assuming they pay £500 for the TV (very conservative, likely to be higher), if they have 3,000 orders, that's going to cost them £900,000 to honour...

    Still, fingers crossed.

It would be a PR nightmare if they didn't; I for one would never shop there again given that they've taken payment from my account, and I'm clearly going to have to go through the hassle of sorting out a refund.

I'll be very surprised if any of these orders are honoured...

  • Not showing at all now for me. Was going to order last night but wanted to see what happened today - I hope those of you who ordered get it honoured, but I was not looking forward to finding space for H's "bargain" anyway!

I really don't think it would be.
