Replacing pushchair wheels

Hi, we bought a o'Baby Sport stroller but as we do a hell of a lot of walking the rear wheels have worn down so much that it's unusable. I've been told that I can send the pushchair back to the company at a charge of about £15 which i'm assuming is just the courier fee and then the wheels can be changed for £1 each.

Thing is, I've taken the 'snap cup' ?? off of the rod holding the wheels in place and now i've got two (well 4) spare wheels off of a neighbours old pushchair to use, but where can I get those clip on things to stop the wheel from falling off?

I know there's a market that replaces pushchair wheels but it's a good 25 miles away from us so would rather try and get it sorted without a long journey.

Anyone else done this?

Nice one, how about the cup that goes over that, surely that's not enough on it's own to keep the wheels on?

You'd be surprised if you knew all the things that were held together just by Star washers.
I can afford anything that I want.
Just so long as I don't want much.

if you see any old prams or toys, they often have those types of clips on them. prise them off gently and you can use them again. (assuming the same rod/axle diameter).
    free.

Try a DIY store. My local independant sells wheels, axle material, ordinary star washers and the chrome cup type.

So that's called a 'star washer'? I can now replace the bit of wire I've got holding the wheels on my Dyson!

Spiderfixes, or capped spiderfixes...buy a few spares incase to damage the cap installing them ;)

I have never heard them refered to as star washers...star washers are usually shakeproof washers.
