Definitely echo Lillibet's instructions re dumping food left at end of flight. Last time we flew to San Diego, California, an American mum and her 3 children, all under 5 by the look of it, had forotten ONE orange left in hand luggage. They were arresting her as we went through customs! Poor woman was pleading, but nobody was listening.icon9.gif

   OH MY!!!!!...shall be strip searching the kids then!....come to think of it, better do same with DH - he's worse than the kids when it comes to not listening to what I say!

If you have the option of choosing go for the hindu (veg) food as it looked lovely when I saw one of my fellow passengers having it.
From the point of view of moneysaving, I would eat the flight food as I had already paid for it, else take a sleeping tablet so you sleep through the meal time if its that bad for you.
Went to Bulgaria on Monarch airlines and the saving grace was the food! The airline was dire! We had a whole chicken breast and veg, and a cheesecake. Ds was asleep and oh doesnt like chocolate things so i had a LOT of cheesecake :)
