Sky in a Flat - Some Q's

Hi All

i know i need to ring sky to discuss the options of having sky in my new flat but i dont currently live there. I do know it has the dual sockets however....anyway....

1) I have to sign for 12 months but if i only in the flat for 6 months can i take the package to my new property without any problems or fees?

2) As i dont have a landline in the flat (yet) i cant sign up to broadband.....but typically how long does it take from booking online for Sky TV + phone line installation to completetion of the job including Broadband? Just an estimate really.

3) Anyone got sky in there flat know any problems that have occured or advice?

Thanks
Paul

  • If you move within the year and the new place doesn't have a dish, there will be a fee, though I don't know what it is now.

If there's already a dish there, there won't be any install costs involved as all you need to do is unplug from your old place and plug into your new place.

  • Question 2 will take about a month
