Hi
I have had Tmobile mobile broadband for about a month now, the box that usually came up when connecting the dongle stopped coming up and I had to go into wireless network centre to connect.
Anwyay, I thought I'd be a smart aris and uninstall then reinstall the software, big mistake!
I have uninstalled, then tried to reinstall, during the process my computer shut down on me, so had to try the process again.
I tried and it came up with a message saying ''some programe files are missing, please uninstall then reinstall''
I have uninstalled this numerous times but it still shows in the 'change or remove programmes' list, and the same message comes up.
Does anyone have a clue why? or how I sort it?
I've resorted to going out and buying an o2 dongle today, waste of bloody money as it's ultra slow and running on GPRS most of the time
EDIT: dont know if it makes a difference but I'm on Windows Vista.

try Windows Installer Cleanup Utility if that fails their are other un-installer programs around, If you have a link to the installer, I could take a look and maybe write a cleaner for you.Press any other key to continue.0

try this one
http://www.flexbyte.com/handy-uninstaller/
if that fails then could you what the software is called or what USB stick you have.Press any other key to continue.0 -
What do you mean when you say your 'computer shut down on you'?:idea:0

try Revo-Uninstaller0

Forget trying to uninstall, go for the reinstall process. It may ask to repair missing files, do this or a fresh install, then uninstall as the whole programme should be there now and then a final reinstall. Hope this sorts your problem.0

Thanks everyone, I ended up uying a 3 dongle, which is much etter than Tmobile but still want to sort it out.
I meant the computer froze on me.
I will try the other options tommorrow and let you know how I get on.0 -

Soz Ali thanks for pointing out I totally over looked this.
I would still try and reinstall as mentioned the computer crashed, is this happening everytime you try and reinstall or was this a one off. If it was a one off then I would suggest trying again if not we will need to look at other options.0
