Looking for some advise please - Buying some shared land of my neighbour. I have agreed a price with my neighbour for this and arranged for my solicitor to contact their's.
Is it just a case now of my Solicitor amending the relevant title deeds and re-issuing them or do I need to get a surveyor involved?

I don't think you need to get a surveyor involved. If it is straight forward the solicitors will draw up a TP1 detailling the parcel of land to be transferred. Assuming this land is registered, this is the document that transfers part of their title number to you. This will then need to be registered in your name at HM Land Registry (at a cost, of course!).Getting older is inevitable, growing up is optional :rotfl:0

Remind your neighbour to 're-register' his smaller plot. This is often overlooked and not always done automatically.Light blue touchpaper and stand well back !0
