Tesco and the Co-op Debit Card

Does any one know if they accept this card yet? Someone told me they did but I wasn't sure.

I use mine every week in my local Tesco store but I haven't tried using it to buy from Tesco online, which I believe some people have had problems with.

mine works with Tesco online, I think some do, some don't not very helpful answer i know

Sorry, yes I meant online.

So it is a case of suck it and see then. Will try when I do my order in 10 days time.

Yes, I will do.

Might have a look at doing the order a little earlier while there is still food left just incase they don't and I am left waiting a couple of days before I can get a Sainsburys delivery.

I'm wondering if it's only people who have tried using their old electron card then they have tried using the card when it's changed to Visa Debit thats having a problem? (If that makes sense!!!!) I'm wondering if the Tesco equipment has marked the number as an electron in it's memory banks and even though the card is now a debit visa they remember it as an electron??? Sorry if this doesn't make complete sense but I know what I'm trying to say but I'm not sure if I'm explaining it correctly!!! It's just that the number on my visa debit is the same as my old electron!

My card was issued in Aug 09, shiny blue with Visa Debit written on front.

But most receipts I get register it as an electron card. It begins 4508.

On the plus side I have had no problems until last week when Tesco decided to take my shopping bill twice from the account, freezing the only remaining money I had in my bank acccount :eek: and was a bit of a nightmare to sort out.
