Also you can enter the Tesco private auction using the code 7YX3G6. Gives access to auctions not available just by going to the main site. At the moment there's a bike and free shopping at Tesco for a year! Thanks to jammygreen who provided this on another forum.

Thanks for that, couldn't get the link from the Tesco site to work and they weren't much help when i emailed them. :)

I've already 'bought' 20% off flowers and £50 off Expedia (came in handy as just booking up holiday flights). Apparently the 'buy' items change each week, so if there's nothing that takes your fancy this week, go back next week. I did try and bid for aWarner Bros T shirt, but with only 900 kitkash I knew there wasn't much hope in getting it. I cant believe how some people have got mega amounts of points (39,000 somebody had bid for a washing machine last week) so quickly, unless they are Nestle employees or people who love searching through bins!

you dont have to search through a bin just stand outside any school at lunchtime and see the little blighters drop all there litter lol..

The problem is with these 'auctions' is that it's not really a case of how much you can pay, but who gets the last bid. There are no proxy bids like Ebay, instead you can only bid in 100pt increments each time. It potentially seems good value otherwise e.g.

Cannon Gas Cooker went for 63,100 points on Wednesday.

Now at asda a multipack is worth 1250pts and costs £2.35.

That means you only need 51 packs at the cost of £119.85. Not bad for a new, quality cooker and a years supply of KitKat!!!

What it comes down to is who can make the last bid when time is running out! You may by loads of kitkats but still miss out on any good items and it was far easier and first before lots of people got onto it.

What I'm not sure of (not sure if anyone could clarify) is if with a multipack, you can register 1250 points in one go or have to do it individually....

If it's individually, how on earth do people get over 1,000,000 points to be able to buy a car!!!

When it says "Printed on multipack wrapper" does that mean the codes are on the outside??

  • I have spotted a couple of things to buy for 100 points -
must make boyfriend eat kitkats can't stand them myself

When I enter the tesco code it tells me to enter the second part of the code?

Click on "Add Kash" ... then to the right of the screen, you'll see an image .... "private auction room" click on the "enter here" then enter the tesco code. :)
