Tattoo Removal Company ... opinions please

My Wife is having a small tattoo removed via Laser treatment, we paid for a block of 6 sessions (costing almost £600 - including a consultation and test).

The 'test' patch was done during the consultation, no problem.
The 2nd full laser treatment was booked for 6 weeks later (the time scale the nurse recommended), we were the last appointment of the day, we turned up was told they are running late due messing up their appointments so we have to wait over an hour, my wife said the women was complaining about being late getting out and seemed to rush the treatment, to the extent that she didn't bother laser some part and said she will do it next time.

This weekend (6 weeks later again) we made the trip which is 30 miles away only to be told on arrival that the nurse is off sick so we would have to try and book another day, so that was a 60 mile round trip wasted !!

What are peoples views on this ? , personally I think they are treating my wife pretty poorly to be honest, is it worth complaining ???

If you're unhappy, it's always worth complaining.

I think it is worth complaining - you've paid a lot of money, and a phonecall in the case of the nurse being off sick shouldn't be too much trouble! There should be a practice manager somewhere like that, so they should be your first point of call.

    Certainly not good customer service.
    How to find a dentist.
    1. Get recommendations from friends/family/neighbours/etc.
    2. Once you have a short-list, VISIT the practices - dont just phone. Go on the pretext of getting a Practice Leaflet.
    3. Assess the helpfulness of the staff and the level of the facilities.
    4. Only book initial appointment when you find a place you are happy with.

That is the most pointless statement I've seen today, alanrp. It's like saying the best way to give up smoking is not to start in the first place.

They are a fundamental part of the diet of many people, especially when fried and served in the form of chips. Or did you mean 'tattoos'?
