Natwest Hardship Claim help please

Hi,

Hope someone can advise me on this.

I am trying to reclaim my bank charges under the financial hardship rule.

Natwest have now accepted my claim and today i got a letter from them saying as a goodwill gesture they will pay £357 which is equivelant to the last 6 months of charges for being over overdraft.

My original claim was for over £3,000.

My account is overdrawn by £3k so want them to pay all the charges back so i can close the account and have one less debt.

any idea what to do next?

Is there a template letter?

Yes read the bit under my post where it says "I have not worked for NatWest Bank since February 2009"
That is about hardship rules but please please remember that the bank DOES NOT have to refund 100% of any claim if you are in financial hardship.

    Hope your still online.

The letter states if i am not happy i can call to discuss. and if an agreement can't be met i have the right to got to the FOS.

Shall I call them and say i am not happy and that i want them to reconsider?

Put it in writing because the contents of a letter is never in dispute whilst the contents of a phone call can, in certain circumstance, be disputed.
