Selling house, best places to advertise?

I've done my research, have a similar (last lot) house on sale by the same builders on sale near us, checked the house price index etc and have come to a right figure to market our house. In any case, we cannnot go over the 250 mark as it means an added 3% on stamp duty. So we can try and market our house for the maximum until we are comfortable, see the response and then reduce the price if the response is not adequate.
All in all, we are now going ahead with mypropertyforsale which has been in existence for quite some time, providing good service (as we have used them before to view many properties).0 -
Very happy as have now got best of both worlds :j
The agent i bought through has just been round to value mine and when I mentioned online he told me that they had just launched an online estate agency. Looks like this is way things are going ( although he still wanted me to use the traditional way as they get more money)
Will keep you posted have just paid my £355 the only difference for me is they book the viewings but I have to show them around, they still do feedback and negotiate and all the rest they do normally.
So thanks for all your help and fingers crossed.
In case anyone is interested it is Pink Residential.co.ukHoping to upgrade to a bigger house in 2010 :j0 -
