Can anyone help.
I am not very good at making up recipes, I always tend to over do one ingredient and it all just ends up as a flop.
I have some pasta, passatta, cherry toms and half a carton of mozzarella pearls. Would it work just chucking the pot of passatta, toms and mozzarella into a pan and adding it to the cooked pasta or is there a recommended amount of each I should use. Would any other ingredient help it to be tasty?
Thanks for your help. I am such a recipe follower that I find it hard to improvise.

What about frying some onions and garlic then adding the rest and perhaps add some herbs.
That is how I normally make the sauce for pasta0 -
Hi Counting_Pennies,
I would lightly fry some onions and a crushed garlic clove, then add the passatta and mozzarella and some basil if you have it. Don't put the cherry tomatoes in until the last minute or they'll get lost in the passatta. The quantities won't matter...it'll taste lovely

Sorry Night-Owl, I didn't see your post before I posted.0

I'd make a sauce out of the passata, cherry toms, some garlic, onions, pepers, S+P. Mix it in with the cooked pasta. Put in a shallow pyrex dish, slice the mozarella over the top and grill. Yum!0
