Change of use commercial to residential

Have seen a few commercial properties over the weekend that would make a cracking house.
Has anyone had the usage changed on their properties, Is it nigh on impossible or feasible? Any pitfalls to know about?

Depends on so many variables.
Go chat to the Planning Dept - they'll give you an indication.0 -
Plenty of pubs and small neighbourhood/village shops are converted to housing as well as old schools and redundant churches, but be aware that often locals and planners don't want to lose these amenities. If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales0
