URGENT PLS HELP!! RE: Mymoviestream.com

Hi all
I signed up for mymoviestream.com on 31st july for a 'free 2 week trial' through quidco. I tried to contact them on 4 seperate occasions to cancel the free trial but everytime they ask for my mothers maiden name it says it's incorrect - i should know!
Now today i have seen they have taken the first payment out of my bank account on the 8th - this is only one week from the sign up date.
There is no phone number to call and they wont reply to my e-mails - what can i do?
pls someone help!!

TIA xx

If it was a credit/debit card payment, you should be able to do a "chargeback" via your bank....

FIRST thing, cancel the Direct Debit from your bank. youll soon get a call from them then. thats when you tell them, you wanted to opt out but for whatever reason, the system would not let you.

It's a card payment not direct debit - they e-mailed me back finally today and said they would refund.
They reckon they didnt take it early

What card did you use to pay?

I would seriously pursue this through your bank - it's an unauthorised transaction and therefore fraud.

Keep all your emails from them etc, and get a copy of their ts & cs etc.

Don't take no for an answer on this one.

As you didn't get back, am I right in assuming they refunded you?

Thinking of taking up one of their offers.....G
