K rend 4 bed semi - Liverpool

Hi, I've had a quote of £5,600 for K rend on a 4 bed semi in the Liverpool area. The quote involves taking off the existing pebbledash down to the brick, base coat(s) and krend top coat (but the scaffold hire is extra - about £400). The area to be covered is c 100sq.m. I know K rend is a bit more expensive than a cement based render but this looks a bit steep.
Any help greatly appreciated

you could have new brick or stone effect like Lime based Decopierre straight over the pebbledash. for that, £56 a mtr is steep, but it depends how bad the pebbledash is. If the pebbledash is poor and coming away, then thats about right. Options to coat over the pebbledash with a breathable system is one way. Question is, why are you doing this? Planty of pebbledash options on you tube Coating with llime render over dash approx £3500 I would guess.0
