Java

looking around to rent a villa and lots of the sites have virtual tours but one needs Java to view them,can I donwnload this anywhere?
my bark is worse than my bite!!!!!!!!

    for some reason it states its already installed on my machine and yet it does not operate what could be blocking it any ideas.

    If you have internet explorer then under security tab of options you can choose to enable or block Java - it is also worth noting that there is more than one version of java and some code requires you to have the specific type

    There is java and java script.Different things.
    In opera you can enable it in preferences but only if it is installed as a plugin.
    I have java script installed on mine but not java.

    have check above and also the same on the laptop which does work java all settings the same could it be pop up blocker or something?

    Yes it could. I run Adwatch (a real time scanner add on of Adaware). I normally have to switch this off to run Java applications, otherwise it blocks them running.
